The collections contain more than 800,000 recent and fossil specimens including more than 200 holotypes.

Kojima (Cerambycidae including many types), K. Tsuneki (Hymenoptera: including many types), K. Sumiyoshi (Papilionidae, especially all the species of Ornithoptera), P. Jaqueley (Butterflies).
